Open Faculty Position

The Des Moines Symphony Academy is seeking enthusiastic, creative teachers with the following qualifications:

*Bachelor's degree or higher in music, education or music education
*Teaching experience similar to the open position 
*Classical and/or jazz background
*Desire to be part of the Academy including creating and/or teaching special programs

PRIVATE LESSON INSTRUCTORS (With opportunities to create small ensembles or group classes)
Cello, Bass, Guitar, Clarinet, Oboe, Saxophone, French Horn, Trombone and Tuba

GROUP CLASS INSTRUCTORS
Early childhood music
Group Piano

SUZUKI INSTRUCTORS (CERTIFIED INSTRUCTORS FOR PRIVATE AND GROUP SUZUKI INSTRUCTION)
Violin, Viola, Cello and Bass
