| Chamber Music |
Chamber music allows participants to play together in duos, trios, quartets and quintets. The Academy accepts participants at all levels of experience. Students receive thoughtful placement in small ensembles and explore chamber repertoire while building special performing partnerships. During each 60-minute session, an instructor coaches groups on principles of ensemble playing. During their years in the program, students gain experience working with different instructors and chamber combinations. Groups will have the opportunity to perform at a variety of events in the Des Moines area. Pre-existing groups are welcome, but for those without a formed group, an audition will be required for placement.
