Civic Music AssociationThe Des Moines Symphony Academy and Civic Music partner for educational programs providing master classes and meet-and-greet opportunities for Academy students. For more information visit www.civicmusic.org Connecting Kids and CultureConnecting Kids and Culture provides enriching, educational opportunities for elementary students and is made possible by contributions from the Principal Charity Classic earmarked "FORE Our Kids." The Connecting Kids and Culture program will provide transportation for elementary funding, this program aligns community based arts and cultural learning experiences to school district curriculum objectives bringing local arts and cultural experieinces into their schools. The Des Moines Symphony Academy is a participating cultural organization. This unique activity offers children and their parents the opportunity to have a hands-on experience with a stringed instrument.
