Connecting Kids and Culture

Connecting Kids and Culture provides enriching, educational opportunities for elementary students and is made possible by contributions from the Principal Charity Classic earmarked "FORE Our Kids." The Connecting Kids and Culture program will provide transportation for elementary funding, this program aligns community based arts and cultural learning experiences to school district curriculum objectives bringing local arts and cultural experieinces into their schools. The Des Moines Symphony Academy is a participating cultural organization.

Des Moines Arts Festival

The Des Moines Symphony Academy presents our exciting and interactive Instrument Petting Zoo as part of the Prairie Meadows Non-Profit area at the Des Moines Arts Festival each June. This unique activity offers children and their parents the opportunity to have a hands-on experience with a stringed instrument.
