Guest conductor Mischa Santora, past Resident Conductor of the Minnesota Orchestra, leads the Symphony in a program that looks back and forward. Violin prodigy, Chad Hoopes, who is making news throughout the music world, makes his Des Moines debut playing Tchaikovsky's virtuosic Violin Concerto.
