Intermediate to advanced string players will have the opportunity to audition for placement in the Philharmonic Orchestra. Eligible instruments are violins, violas, cellos and basses. Requirements: Suzuki books 4-6, reading music, shifting through 3rd position, demonstrating vibrato and a variety of bowing techniques. Mininum playing experience requirements: three years. The Philharmonic Orchestra will perform two concerts during teh school year. Auditions required. Ages: 10 and up Rehearsals: Tuesdays Derek Clausen, Conductor |
