Beginning string players will develop skills as they rehearse and perform music of many styles from different eras. Eligible instrumetns are violins, violas, cellos and basses. Sinfonia players will work mainly in first position. Requirements: Suzuki books 1-3, reading music, playing in the keys of C, G, D, F and shifting through 3rd position for 1st violins. Minimum playing experience requirements: one year. The Sinfonia Orchestra will perform two concerts during the school year.
