Music 1A is a weekly 60–minute group piano class for students 3rd grade and older. Through the Pace Comprehensive Piano Curriculum students will learn keyboard geography, rhythm, solos, staff reading, ensembles, composition, improvisation, and music theory in a fun environment with friends. Students will have opportunities to share their music with others through class participation, open class and our yearly recital. Practice sessions at home are required so a piano at home is a must. 3rd grade and up Class size is limited to 4 Tuition: $63

Des Moines Symphony Academy cannot reserve space in any Early Childhood Music class until full payment has been received. Cancellations & RefundsClasses that do not enroll a required minimum number of students 5 days prior to class convening may be cancelled. Students that have paid for a cancelled class will receive a refund or may apply credit to another class or private lesson. If a family needs to drop a class, Des Moines Symphony Academy will consider refunding the classes missed if the class is dropped within the first 2 weeks of the session. |
