Celebrate the winter season! Join a group of "festive flutists". Develop your ensemble playing skills and your individual technique by being a part of this popular winter flute ensemble. Winter themed music is featured and instrumentation includes piccolo, alto and bass flutes as well as string bass, percussion and vocalists. Past performances included the Des Moines Art Center's "Winter Magic", the Des Moines Symphony Academy's Fundraiser at Barnes and Noble, Des MOines Golf and Country Club, Festival of Trees, Downtown Winter Farmer's Market and Terrace Hill. New members may be required to audition.

Age: Middle School through High School

Dates: November 2, 9, 16, 23
                         December 7
