Sinfonia Orchestra

Beginning string players will develop ensemble skills as they rehearse and perform music of many styles from different eras. Sinfonia is designed for players with at least one year of playing experience. Sinfonia players will work mainly in first position. Students must have an understanding of F and C naturals and the ability to read music. The Sinfonia Orchestra will perform two concerts during the school year. Audition required.

Ages 6 and up

Tuition: $295 for the year

Recommended string player ability levels:

  • Suzuki book 1–3
  • Shifting through 3rd position for 1st violins
  • Keys of C, G, D, F

A full rehearsal/concert schedule will be available at the first rehearsal.
All Rehearsals and Performances are held at the The Temple for Performing Arts.

NOTE: Tuition to Youth Symphonies may be paid in 2 equal installments.
