Orchestra Annual FundRevenue from ticket sales cover less than half the cost required to present the Symphony season. In fact, if we had to rely on ticket sales alone, only 38 musicians would be able to take the stage for a given concert. Support to our Orchestra Annual Fund allows us to fund the orchestra musicians, guest artists and much more. Orchestra Annual Fund - General Academy Annual FundThe Des Moines Symphony Academy offers classes and lessons to children and adults throughout the community. Donations to the Academy help to cover faculty costs, overhead expenses and scholarships given to children that cannot afford semester tuition. Academy Annual Fund - General Legacy GiftsA contribution through means of a bequest or other planned gift helps to ensure the future of the Des Moines Symphony so that future generations can be enlightened, enriched and entertained by great music and/or music education. |
