- Title Development Manager
Renée Davenport joined the Des Moines Symphony staff in May 2014. She holds a Bachelor of Music in voice performance from Coe College and Master of Music in voice performance from Bowling Green State University.
In her role as Development Manager, Renée is responsible for the Symphony and Academy’s individual annual giving programs including donor engagement, communication and assistance with development special events.
In addition to her work at the Symphony, she works with Des Moines metro-area high school voice students as a show choir director, IHSSA musical theatre speech coach, and private voice instructor and can be seen, from time to time, in local theatrical productions.
