Classes & Camps
Alexander Technique Instructor: Anita Mischuk Location: Temple for Performing Arts Tuition: $125 per 5 week session
F.M. Alexander discovered that we often interrupt our innate coordination and lose our natural support, ease, and joy in playing our instrument. He used this found knowledge to develope tools for transforming tension, fatigue, and pain into useful energy.
In this series of classes, students will be given tools to access this innate coordination, explore personal use patterns and habits and learn to make new choices that provide ease of motion, increase technical proficiency and access artistry. Classes are open to all ages and designed for those who are interested in using Alexander Technique concepts to ease pain, prevent injury and promote general well-being.
Alexander Technique classes will be held in 5-week sessions and will take place in our Chamber Music Studio, 2nd floor at The Temple for Performing Arts.
