David Rubin

David Rubin has a bachelor of music in piano performance from Drake University with minors in trombone and composition under the tutelage of Dr. Nicholas Roth. He is currently a Staff Accompanist at Drake University and enjoys learning and performing classical repertoire, particularly baroque. He has performed in many master classes, plus chamber and solo recitals in Sheslow Auditorium, the Salisbury House, Drake Wind Symphony, weddings and has recently participated in an international festival celebrating Chopin and Schumann’s 200th birthday under Edward Auer. He has plans to get his doctorate in piano and music theory.
